Terms and conditions

Booking terms: Your course deposit must be made at the time of booking, directly on our website. A booking deposit is a firm commitment to complete your chosen course and signifies your agreement to these general terms and conditions. It cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Booking requirements: If you are booking a course which requires prior experience or qualification, your booking deposit confirms that you can meet those pre-course requirements, and will be able to provide evidence. For example, you may be required to upload evidence of a prerequisite qualification to your account on our website before your course can go ahead. Such evidence must be uploaded at least 14 days before your course date.

Payment terms: Although your booking deposit is paid directly on our website, the remaining payment is paid directly to your tutor unless you choose to pay for your course in full, in which case we will make the payment to your tutor before your course. Your tutor will provide you with payment details, and confirm the final amount payable. This final payment must be made not less than 14 days before your agreed course date, unless the course is booked within 14 days of the arrange course date, in which case full payment becomes due upon booking. If payment has not been made within 7 days your course will be cancelled, but the full course fee will still be due.

Cancellation & refunds: If you wish to cancel your course, please inform your tutor immediately by email. Your booking deposit is not refundable. However, course fees paid more than 14 days prior to the course may be refunded if the course is cancelled not less than 14 days before the course date. Courses cancelled after that time will not be refunded. If you simply fail to attend the course date, your course fee will not be refunded. If your tutor cancels the course for any reason, they will be required to offer you a mutually convenient alternative date as soon as possible after the original date.

Course duration: Most courses, both online and in person, are designed to be completed within a specified timescale to encourage course progression, effective learning and course success.  Unless otherwise stated within the course description, our courses must be completed within 12 months. If you are unable to complete the course within the specified time, you must inform Natural Touch Training by email before the course completion date lapses.  To complete a course that has already lapsed without explanation you will be required to purchase the course again at the current rate.

Course materials: Your course manual and any additional material will be available to download from My Account on this website once your deposit has been paid. Your tutor may email you additional material, specific to your course. You are required to bring all of this material to your training, either on paper or in electronic format. In general, course manuals are available to download for 12 months from the date of purchase.  Online courses are accessible for 12 months, unless otherwise stated (please refer to individual course descriptions).

Providing a model: For some courses, you will be required to provide a model body to practice on. Your course will be cancelled if you fail to provide a model when asked to do so.

Course prerequisites: Some of our courses require prior experience or prerequisite qualifications and you will be asked to provide evidence if this is the case. If you are in any doubt about the suitability of your prerequisite qualifications or experience (for example, if you have studied a foundation level course as an online course), please get in touch with us before you book, to check the suitability of your qualification.

Changes to your course date: Once agreed with your tutor, your course date can only be changed by arrangement with your tutor up to 7 days before the agreed course start date.

Videos, photos and course materials: No audio or video recording or photo taken during your training may be shared or made public, including on social media. Your course materials are the property of Natural Touch Training and may not be shared or distributed. If you are training with a number of students you may share the material amongst yourselves.

Recommend a friend conditions: When you successfully complete a course with Natural Touch Training you will be sent a discount code with your certificate. This discount code can be given to a friend when you recommend a course to them. You may also use the code to book your next training course with Natural Touch Training. Each discount code can be used only once.

Insurance: All practising therapists must carry adequate insurance. Natural Touch Training and your tutor can provide advice on this. Student therapists must ensure they have adequate cover whilst they are training, before, during and after the course. Your tutor may choose not to train you if you cannot prove that you are properly and adequately insured. For hobbyists, who choose only to work with friends and family, insurance may not be necessary.

On the day of your course: Please ensure you are on time, in good health and bring with you everything that is required to complete your course.

Certification requirements: In order to receive your completion certificate, all elements of the course must be completed to the satisfaction of your course tutor. This includes evidence of any prerequisite qualifications, preparatory work, practical work, written assessments and final assessments. If you are unsure about what is required for certification on a particular course, please ask.

Accreditation and use of logos: Natural Touch Training is accredited and recognised with many of the UK’s top governing and professional bodies. As such, our courses enable you to practice professionally and gain membership and insurance. Once qualified, you are entitled to use your course certificate to provide evidence of your training, but no independent use of the Natural Touch Training logo itself is granted without written permission.

Equal opportunities: Natural Touch Training provides a flexible and supportive learning environment so that everyone can benefit from the opportunities provided. Our courses are regularly reviewed and updated and the feedback we receive from our students is very important in guiding this process.

We treat everyone as equal; we do not treat anyone differently on the grounds of race, gender, gender identity, disability, age, marital status, religious belief or sexual orientation. However, we also realise that some people may need more support than others on their learning journey and our tutors will do everything they can to help you overcome these challenges.

We will not tolerate any form of discrimination or harassment towards Natural Touch Training tutors or other students and it is the responsibility of all students and tutors to fully support and comply with this mandate.

Complaints: Your feedback is important to us and at the end of your course you will be asked for your comments. However, if you have an issue you would like to address before this time, please email info@naturaltouchtraining.co.uk in complete confidence. We take complaints of any nature very seriously.
