Myofascial Cupping – Online
£175.00
This course is ideal for therapists wishing to understand more about how our body’s fascia system works and how to release the body’s myofascial tissue using vacuum cupping. It is intended for qualified massage and bodywork therapists who wish to extend their existing skills to include myofascial cupping.
Myofascial cupping is a modified version of the ancient Eastern style cupping. It differs by specifically targeting the musculoskeletal system rather than the meridian systems used by traditional Chinese practitioners. The vacuum lifts the soft tissue perpendicular to the skin, providing a tensile force to the underlying soft tissue system. Incorporating myofascial cupping into your regular massage routines, or using it as a modality all on its own, myofascial cupping skills will enhance your treatments, and your results.
The online course has exactly the same content as the traditional in-person training we offer, except that the course is completely taught and assessed online with clear video demonstrations. After the course you will have the option to upgrade to a hands-on training if you wish.

Course overview
This course is ideal for therapists wishing to understand more about how our body’s fascia system works and how to release the body’s myofascial tissue using vacuum cupping. It is intended for qualified massage and bodywork therapists who wish to extend their existing skills to include myofascial cupping.
Myofascial cupping is a modified version of the ancient Eastern style cupping. It differs by specifically targeting the musculoskeletal system rather than the meridian systems used by traditional Chinese practitioners. It uses plastic or silicone cups and vacuum suction rather than the glass cups and naked flame of traditional dry cupping to create suction. The vacuum lifts the soft tissue perpendicular to the skin, providing a tensile force to the underlying soft tissue system. Incorporating myofascial cupping into your regular massage routines, or using it as a modality all on its own, myofascial cupping skills will enhance your treatments, and your results.
