Natural Touch Training use your data in a number of ways; mostly, to enhance the user experience and inform future developments. We store and process only the information that is absolutely necessary and will never share your information with third parties.
Contact Form
Our contact form collects the following data: IP address, name, email address, contact phone number and message. The information is submitted to the Akismet service for the sole purpose of spam checking. The actual submission data is stored in the database of this site and is emailed directly to Natural Touch Training. This email will include the submitter’s IP address, timestamp, name, email address, contact phone number, and message. We will not share any of this information with any third parties.
Marketing
From time to time Natural Touch Training will send information to its students and tutors via email marketing. You are welcome to opt out of these communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option in those communications. You will continue to receive information that is intended only for you.
Protecting our users and our website
In order to check login activity and potentially block fraudulent attempts, the following information is used: attempting user’s IP address, attempting user’s email address or username and all IP-related HTTP headers attached to the attempting user. Failed login attempts are tracked (these include IP address and user agent). Lapsed or unused accounts will be archived or deleted after one year.
Sharing
Data Used: When sharing our website content via email, the following information is used: sharing party’s name and email address (if the user is logged in, this information will be pulled directly from their account), IP address (for spam checking), user agent (for spam checking), and email content. This content will be sent to Akismet so that a spam check can be performed.
Payments & commercial services
Data Used: Transaction amount, transaction currency, product title, product price, product ID, order quantity, PayPal or Stripe payer ID, and PayPal or Stripe transaction ID.
Activity Tracked: The PayPal or Stripe payer ID, transaction ID, and HTTP referrer are sent with a payment completion tracking event that is attached to the site owner. Because most payments are processed by Stripe, we recommend reviewing its privacy policy.
Online courses
Online courses which require the submission of course work, quizzes or assessment data are designed to meet the terms of our privacy policy. Submissions will not be shared for any purposes without explicit permission from the author and assessment data will be stored for seven years before being archived or deleted.
Cookies
We use cookies to enable a personalised experience for both visitors and registered users. We also utilise cookies for our Site Stats feature. This tallies the unique numbers of visitors to a site, as well as the number from specific geographic locations. A visitor is counted when we see a user or browser for the first time in a given period. If you disable cookies, please be aware that some of the features of our service may not function correctly.
