Although COVID-19 is not as dangerous as it once was, it is still deadly for some, including young children, the elderly, and those with compromised immune systems. With this in mind we are still taking a number of precautions before, during and after our training courses to ensure the health and wellbeing of all tutors, students and models. Cooperation with the following guidelines would be much appreciated.
Please make sure you are familiar with these general guidelines before you attend your training.
If you tutor has any more specific information relating to your course or venue, they will let you know. In general, the following apply to all courses:
- Training group sizes are kept small.
- You will only be asked to bring a model for your course if you are training alone.
- Your training venue will be well ventilated, thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before, during and after the course, with particular attention to touch-points such as door handles and so on.
- Students (and models if appropriate) will be required to fill out consultation forms (where possible this will be online) before they attend the course.
- Where training involves close proximity to the head and face, it is recommended that tutors and students wear face masks.
- A lateral flow test is no longer mandatory, but you (and your model) are strongly advised to carry one out before your course if you suspect that you may have a virus, including Covid-19.
If you are in any doubt about your state of health immediately before your course, or you know that you have come into contact with someone who has coronavirus, please contact your tutor straight away and postpone your course until you are sure you are well. Your tutor may ask for a doctor’s written proof.
Equally, after training, if you discover that you may have symptoms and could have been carrying the virus whilst on your course, contact your tutor straight away.
If you have questions or concerns, please send us an email or contact your tutor.
