Yoga is an ancient practice, enjoyed today by millions of people around the world. Whether you choose to attend a class, or join a series like this one and practice at home, yoga is for everyone. It has the power to calm & focus the mind and strengthen the body and increases our sense of physical health, emotional well-being, mental clarity, and spiritual connection.
Yoga poses (asanas) improve posture and increase strength and flexibility. They improve circulation and have a wide range of therapeutic benefits. Breathing exercises boost energy, calm the mind and the nervous system and improve the efficiency of our bodily systems. Relaxation counteracts the effects of stress and allows the body to recharge. Over time, yoga will make you more supple, stronger and relaxed, and promote health and well-being. It’s also incredibly enjoyable!
