This Diploma is mapped to the National Occupational Standards written by VTCT and an accredited qualification by the Federation of Holistic Therapists.
Reflexology is an essential skill for any holistic therapist, the treatment involves massage and application of pressure to specific reflex areas of the feet. The feet are considered to be a map of the body mirroring its vital organs and structure. By stimulating these reflex points on the feet we can improve circulation, decrease tension and eliminate toxins encouraging the body to function correctly. This treatment is designed to boost energy levels, and enhance emotional well-being and can be used to assist many physical problems i.e. arthritis, digestive problems, back pain, general fatigue, and menstrual irregularities. Stress-related problems may also be alleviated, for example, migraines, neck, back and shoulder tension, eczema, irritable bowel syndrome, and high blood pressure to name a few.

Pre-requisites: None, however it is recommended that the Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology element of this course is 80% complete prior to commencing any practical training.
Teaching Format: Self-study, guided learning & in-person training
Model Required? Yes, if taught individually. Otherwise, students will work on each other. Check ‘contraindications’ in the course manual to determine suitability for treatment for yourself or prior to choosing your model

Course hours breakdown:
- Anatomy, physiology & pathology*
120 guided learning hours, including self-study & assessment - Principles & practice of complementary therapies and business practice
110 guided learning hours, including self-study - Provide reflexology massage
4 days practical training & 1 day assessment, plus 100 case studies – 145 guided learning hours & in person practical training - Starting Your Own Business (bonus course) – self-study paced

Course options:
This course includes our full Level 3 Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology home study and assessment package. If you have an equivalent qualification completed within the last 3 years, you can submit your certificate as evidence of prior learning and omit this part of the course.*
Additional practical training days can be arranged as necessary.
Assessment: Completion of guided home study and preparation of written assessment prior to the practical training day. On the practical training days, continuous formative assessment, verbal questions and performance of Reflexology treatments with guidance from your tutor. Case studies to be completed prior to final assessment day. Final assessment review of case studies and performance of full Reflexology treatment (including client consultation and assessment, preparation of treatment plan, full reflexology treatment including symptom led focus and aftercare) observed by tutor along with final completion of the written assessment.
Case Studies Required: Yes, 100 case studies are required to be completed within 12 months of your course.
Accrediting Body: The FHT & The CMA and approved as insurable by The FHT, Insync, BGi UK , Westminster, Balens and Wellbeing Insurance. However, please check with your own insurer to see if they will also cover this qualification
Qualification Attained: Natural Touch Training Level 3 Diploma.
