Natural Touch Training™ is one of the country’s premier training academies for holistic therapies and beauty treatments. We offer a range of courses designed for both professional therapists and enthusiasts and are approved and accredited by some of the top awarding bodies in the UK. Our tutors are selected for their experience and expertise, and provide the best possible learning experience and support for our students.
If you are interested in becoming a tutor with Natural Touch Training™, we would be delighted to hear from you. We are always looking for experienced, well-qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated tutors across the UK.
Our online application form is here.
Why join us?
As a tutor with Natural Touch Training™, you have the flexibility to choose how and when you work. You can teach groups or individuals, schedule courses around your existing commitments, and take breaks whenever you need.
We handle the administrative side of things, so you can focus on what you do best: teaching. We also provide guidance on promoting your courses locally and give you access to marketing materials to help attract students.
In addition, tutors receive 50% discount on the deposit fee for any of our hands-on courses or 50% discount on the total cost of our online courses, including our online refresher courses. Perfect to meet your CPD requirements, expand your skills or refresh your knowledge before teaching.
What you will need:
To join us as a tutor, you will need:
- Knowledge, enthusiasm, and an approachable personality.
- Your own teaching venue, either at home or at your place of work. If you work in a spa or similar, please ensure you have the owner’s permission to teach there before contacting us.
- Qualifications in the areas you wish to teach, and at least 1 year of proven experience (2 years for advanced treatments) with no insurance claims history.
- A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to achieve one. We offer a discount on our online Level 3 Award in Education & Training if you don’t already have a qualification.
- Appropriate professional insurance to cover teaching by the time you start. Your current professional insurance provider may be able to help you with this, and we can advise you.
Please note: We aim to have only one tutor per course type in each area (usually a county). However, if there is already a tutor in your area, get in touch anyway, as we may still be able to work with you.
You can see our current tutor locations on an interactive map here.
What being a tutor involves
- Teaching courses ranging from 1-day workshops to longer practitioner courses. Typical groups are 2 – 6 students, depending on the discipline and your venue.
- Preparing lessons and practical demonstrations using our teaching resources. We provide course manuals, presentations, and marketing support.
- Promoting your courses locally, while we also advertise your courses nationally.
- Supporting students during the course and answering basic questions.
We aim to make your tutoring experience enjoyable, low-stress, and rewarding.
Pay and rewards
- Tutors are self-employed and earn a competitive fee per student enrolled on their courses.
- Discounts on courses allow you to continue your professional development at minimal cost.
- Opportunities to expand your teaching repertoire and increase income as you grow your student base.
Support and resources
We support all our tutors with:
- Marketing materials and guidance to help you attract students.
- Minimal admin. Booking, payments, and course management are handled centrally.
- Optional training or mentoring if you’d like to shadow an experienced tutor before teaching independently.
Commitment and expectations
- We expect tutors to advertise their courses on social media, within community groups and other channels, at least twice each month as a minimum. This is crucial to attracting local students.
- Tutors can work as much or as little as they like, and we review tutor commitment on an annual basis.
- There is no minimum or maximum number of courses, but we encourage regular teaching to maintain skills and presence in your area.
- We may schedule an informal observed lesson or chat before confirming your role.
How to apply:
If you are interested in joining our team, please complete this online form to provide us with some basic information and we will arrange to give you a call for an informal initial chat.
Alternatively, you are welcome to email [email protected] to provide us with the same information.
Please tell us:
- Your name and contact phone number, and if there is a best time to call
- Where you live
- Where you work (if it is a spa or similar, do you have permission to teach students there?)
- Your business website and social media pages
- Which disciplines you are interested in teaching, from our list of current or upcoming courses
- How long you have been actively working in that discipline and a little about your experience
- Whether you have a teaching qualification and, if so, which.
We look forward to hearing from you!
