Our Ear Candling course is perfect for beginners and experienced Therapists wishing to expand their Holistic treatments.

Ear candles are not a traditional candle but are a hollow tube made using organic cotton or flax, pure beeswax, honey extract and traditional herbs. Ear candling has become a popular therapy in the west and is used to help a wide range of symptoms, not only those associated with the ears.

Treatment includes a post-candle pressure point facial massage.

The treatment induces a deeply relaxed state in which the body is better able to fight imbalances.

  • ✅  Guided self-study with our course manuals
  • ✅  Practical observation and hands-on training
  • ✅  A short written assessment

You will complete your guided home study before the practical training day(s).

On the practical training day(s), your tutor will assess your progress with verbal questions and by observing you as you perform a treatment.

Your written assessment is completed after the training day and submitted to your tutor within 2 weeks, except for some longer courses, where it is completed on the last training day.

If you’re choosing a refresher course, it will be assessed via observation of a treatment with minimal guidance from your tutor.

All our courses include a theory component that you complete at your own pace. This is delivered as self-guided learning materials, which include:

📖  2 course manuals and additional information

You will be able to download these and start to prepare for your training as soon as you purchase your course.

💻  Online modules or e-learning content for some courses.

For example, our longer Level 3 courses come with our Level 3 Anatomy & Physiology course included as standard. And you also get access to our Business & Marketing primers on those longer courses too.

🎧  Video demonstrations and supporting resources are available for many courses, as well as audio versions of our manuals.

You should read and study all the materials thoroughly, ensuring you understand the concepts before moving on to practical training. Your tutor will want to confirm your understanding of the manuals.

The theory component can all be completed at home, allowing you to fit your study around work, family, or other commitments. Once you have completed the theory, you will be ready to attend the practical sessions, where you will apply what you have learned under the guidance of your qualified tutor.

Case studies are not required for this course.
However, you are strongly recommended to practise on friends & family before offering treatments to the public.

Your course fee includes:

  • ✅   Your PDF training manuals
  • ✅   Training materials, including a starter kit where appropriate
  • ✅   In-person training with your tutor at your chosen location
  • ✅   Assessment and certification
  • ✅   Full tutor support & feedback on your assessments

In other words, everything is included!

A comprehensive & high-quality Biosun (or equivalent) starter kit worth over £35 is included in our Ear Candling training courses, including our refresher course and online course upgrade. The kit includes 5 pairs of genuine, individually wrapped, Biosun ear candles and protective discs.
