Aromatherapy is the systematic use of plant oils known as essential oils for the treatment or prevention of disease. It is a form of complementary therapy designed to treat the whole person and not just the symptom or disease by assisting the body’s natural ability to balance, regulate, heal and maintain itself.  Learn the properties of 40 essential oils and 20 carrier oils and how to use them appropriately and safely. Training to become an Aromatherapy Practitioner will give you the specialist knowledge needed to be able to blend and prescribe essential oils and other products for your client’s specific needs. This practice will also enable you to treat clients and support multiple health problems. Additionally, you will be qualified to work as a massage therapist, learning how to perform a full body massage, including lymphatic drainage and acupressure techniques, whilst incorporating prescriptive blended aromatherapy oils for a truly holistic experience.
